COMPOSITION: 1 ml contains
Acetyl-DL-Methionine........200 mg -Methionine is a lipotropic and a hepatoprotective agent. It is an essential amino acid containing a sulfa atom which protects the liver against necrosis. It also protects and treats steatosis (retention of lipids in the liver).
Methionine is a precursor of the amino acid cystine; which is an important source of mu energy. It acidifies urine.
INDICATIONS:
Substitution therapy of diseases involving iver, such as parturient paresis, primary liver diseases. Secondary liver damage after infection diseases or intoxications.
DOSAGE:
By slow intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous administration or orally in small animals.
Cattle: 50-100 ml
Horses: 50 ml -
Small ruminants: 20 ml -
Dogs: Up to 10 ml
In necessary case, interval dose 6 - 24 hours.
Withdrawal time: None.
